Privacy Policy
Save My Money is a photo-based personal expense tracking app. This policy explains what information the app uses in the current release and how that information is handled.
Information the app uses
- Photos you capture or choose for expense entries.
- Transaction details you enter, such as amount, type, date, and tags.
- App preferences such as language, currency, and display settings.
How information is used
- To create and display your expense and income entries.
- To organize your history with filters, tags, and summaries.
- To suggest an amount from text detected in a receipt image when available.
Storage and data sharing
In the current release, Save My Money is designed to store user data locally on the device. The app does not require an account and does not advertise cloud sync as a core feature. The developer does not intentionally collect or sell your personal data through the app.
Permissions
- Camera: used to capture receipt or spending photos.
- Photo Library: used when you choose an existing image from your device.
Data retention and deletion
Because data is stored locally, you control your entries on your own device. Removing entries inside the app or uninstalling the app may remove locally stored data, subject to the operating system behavior.
Children's privacy
The app is not designed to knowingly collect personal data from children through a remote backend service in its current release.
Changes
This privacy policy may be updated when app features or data handling change. The latest version will be published at this page.
